What Palantir AIP is
AIP is Palantir's AI layer built on top of Foundry. Its central idea is the ontology: a semantic model of your entities, relationships and actions, against which agents reason and act with inherited permissions and lineage. It is a serious piece of engineering, and the ontology concept is the right one.

MouRio's data ontology gives agents shared, governed meaning for the entities they actually touch — and grows outward as you automate more. That is a deliberately narrower promise than modelling the entire enterprise up front, and it is why the first agent ships in weeks rather than quarters.
