Agents inside the Salesforce platform
MouRio vs Salesforce Agentforce
Agentforce is a capable agent layer for Salesforce processes, with real pro-code and model-choice options. What it cannot change is where it runs. MouRio runs inside your own boundary, across every system a process touches on the way to an answer.

What Salesforce Agentforce is
Salesforce describes Agentforce as the agent-driven layer of the Salesforce Platform. Agents are assembled from subagents (renamed from topics in April 2026) and actions, and can be built in the low-code builder, in Agent Script, through Agentforce DX in the CLI and VS Code, or headlessly from an IDE and CI/CD with no platform UI at all. The Trust Layer sits between your data and the models, and the whole thing runs on Salesforce's infrastructure alongside the rest of your org.
Cost
How each one charges you
Agentforce is consumption-priced, so the agents your customers actually use are the ones that cost most — and the grounding they depend on carries its own consumption. MouRio is a fixed annual subscription with no metering, running on infrastructure you already pay for.
| Capability | MouRio | Salesforce Agentforce |
|---|---|---|
| How you are charged | ||
| Pricing basis | Fixed annual subscription | Consumption — credits drawn down by agent usage |
| What is metered | None — not per agent, per user, per query or per message | Agent conversations and actions |
| Model usage | Billed to you directly by your model provider, at your negotiated rate | Included in consumption, at Salesforce's rate |
| Infrastructure | Runs on infrastructure you already own | Included — Salesforce-operated |
| Additional licensing | None | Salesforce platform licensing, and Data Cloud consumption where used for grounding |
| What drives the bill up | ||
| What makes your bill grow | Nothing — the subscription is flat | Conversation volume and the data grounding behind it |
| Cost of a popular agent | No change | Rises with every conversation it handles |
| Repeat work gets cheaper, not just cappedA useful conversation is saved as a reusable skill and reruns at ~12% of the tokens it took to discover — so the same task costs less the second time | Yes | Each conversation is billed afresh |
| Budget predictability | Known at signature for the full year | Varies with adoption |
| Cost that never appears on an invoice | ||
| Engineering to build governance, approvals and auditRegistry, policy enforcement, replayable lineage, approval routing | Included in the platform | Trust Layer covers a lot inside Salesforce |
| Team time to run and upgrade the platform itself | Vendor-maintained | None — fully managed |
| Ongoing maintenance as systems change | Reconfigure in the studio | Low inside Salesforce; higher at every boundary beyond it |
| Cost of moving off the platform later | Low — agents and policies are configuration in your tenant | High — agents are Salesforce platform artefacts |
We do not publish Salesforce’s prices. Their pricing changes and depends on your agreement, so any figure here would be out of date or wrong for you — ask them for a quote. What is comparable, and what usually decides the business case, is the structure above: what you are charged for, and what makes the number grow.
Where they differ
What actually changes if you pick MouRio
Your tenant, and your whole estate
Agentforce is strongest where the data already sits in Salesforce. MouRio deploys inside your own cloud or data centre and treats CRM as one system among many — so an agent can read a work order in SAP, check a drawing in Teamcenter and update a case in Salesforce within a single governed run.
Grounding without a data programme
Getting the most from Agentforce generally means getting the relevant data into Data Cloud first. MouRio reads systems where they already are, which removes a prerequisite consolidation step before the first agent can do anything useful.
The model can sit inside the boundary too
Model choice is close to parity here and it would be wrong to suggest otherwise: Agentforce supports bringing your own LLM from OpenAI, Azure, Vertex or Bedrock under your own account, and its LLM Open Connector specification will connect any custom model, including one you host. The difference is the path the prompt takes. In Agentforce the orchestration runs on Salesforce's platform, so the prompt reaches your model from there. In MouRio the platform and the model can both sit inside your network, so it never leaves at all.
Cost that does not track adoption
A fixed annual subscription means a successful agent and an ignored one cost the same. Under consumption pricing, the better an agent performs the more it costs — which is a strange incentive to introduce into a business case.

Objections
What buyers ask us on this comparison
It works with it. Salesforce is one of the systems MouRio connects to, so your CRM investment is untouched. MouRio runs the processes that begin or end outside it — the ones that cross into SAP, ServiceNow or a mainframe and currently stall at that handoff. That is work Agentforce is not positioned to reach.
